i have nothing but praise for taj he has treated me and my friends very good never had a problem with him he is doing a good service for the comunity and i will contuie to work with him tag if i was 40 years younger i come to work for you and the hell with those other guys

Taj is the best. Stopped in once to get minnows and he wasn't around. Called him and he says go around the back of the house and help yourself. Though in retrospect, he could have warned me that one of his ducks is bit of a dick lol.

I am shocked and angry to hear this. This is utter BS for Taj to have to endure the fear of some racists that yes I believe are jealous of what he has built. I have never heard one negative thing about this man. I have heard on this forum how good he is....I have sent him business as I am sure all of you have. I met Taj and his family for the first time last year. My buddy Jimmy and I went out with him....well everything I have ever heard about him is true.....Taj you are a legend....Taj try and ignore these haters.....I hope the police pay you a visit my brother in life and bring these culprits to justice......meanwhile do what you do best. Jimmy and I will be calling you shortly to come up near the end of the month during the week. I hope that one day we will know who the other operators are that are harassing you....we can soon avoid doing business with them. BTW I also left a response for your article in the newspaper.

I usually don't fish that side of the lake but may start doing so...like some of the others on this board, even if once of twice a year or if I am bringing newbies onto the ice (great time to seek Taj for his services).

After reading this article I am appalled by the way Taj, his family and his business has been treated. I have visited his business many times and fished out of Port Bolster. He runs a top notch operation, I don't even need to say this, it has been said again and again by many members here over the years. Taj has supported us at our events, offering prizes and even the use of his venue - at no charge. This is one of the nicest guys and friendliest families I know. Shame on whomever is harassing them! You should be proud of him and his business for bringing so much tourism to your town and spreading good vibes.. Keep doing what you do Taj, and ignore the haters.

Disgusting. Fished with Taj for a few years. Can never say anything bad about him. Will be out with him after my little detour south. Everyone should be going to him. Keep your head up Taj you are not doing anything wrong but every RIGHT.

I too am outraged.Taj is tremendous human being and deserves much better. Shame on the township and the ministry for empowering frivolous, vexatious, and malicious complainants. Sadly the comments regarding the local constabulary are likely accurate. Taj should consider filing a complaint with the Provincial ombudsman. I'm proud to be a part of this community, and impressed with the support expressed for Taj and Singh family.

I'm disgusted, but also really not surprised. There is a LOT of hate out there - be it racial oriented, or just "karen's" who want something to stop to their own benefit. (ie. shore owners who don't like the early morning noise, or all the parked cars in the summer or winter). We need to call it out ANY time we see it happening and lead by example.

WOW WOW WOW i just read the news report again. So they stopped him from allowing us to park on his property??? This is one of the last places out of towners can park on Simcoe for reasonable price and go fishing for the day! Just low down terrible.

I am also outranged this kind of behavior is NOT acceptable !! I know Taj for many years and I also know his two other brothers , I worked with all of them for a long time at Magna International. Nice and friendly people easy to get along. Taj is going out of his way to help his customers and I experienced only good service from him in the past many years. He is honest and hard working guy and just want to run his business and support his family.
He deserves our business and our support. I'm a local guy so I don't need overnight accommodation, but I support his business and buying his minnows every time I go fishing.
Taj you are a great guy, just keep doing what you are doing best.
I'll see you soon . I just wait a little thicker ice so I can go with my sled and pull my heavy Smitty behind me.

Is that true???/...........the Town will not let us to park on his property???
I parked there a few times when the ice was not strong enough to park on!!
And he's got a nice and big backyard to park there, close to the lake.

Echoing the posts on this thread - really disappointed to hear this is happening to Taj. He's a great operator and super nice person. He and his family work hard and are always super helpful and friendly.
And he's totally correct to suspect rats trying to undermine his business - bylaw enforcement is almost exclusively based on complaints... some low life scum is intentionally causing grief for Taj.
