That was some excellent videos of life (and death). If the loons/minnow vids were not taken near the Barrie Marina, I would recommend that you visit that area in Oct/Nov every year...loads of bait and birds (many species) feeding on them...quite a sight to see. If you get the camera deep enough you may even see large schools of perch feeding on the minnows from below.

I met you last winter near Johnson’s beach and you showed me video under the ice where I was fishing. I was very impressed with your setup. I was also very thankful for the view you provided me. This video is really impressive. Keep up the great work. I subscribed to your channel last year. Your other videos are equally as impressive. 👍

As a photographer and a fisherman I really appreciate you sharing this awesome footage of a world that most of us can only ping with sonar or see with more inferior camera equipment compared to yours. Those are some nice bait balls you captured. Thank you.
Arnie
Thanks very much for watching Arnie and for your kind words. I appreciate it!

I feel soooo inadequate now… here’s a newbie on his second post and blows us away with his video abilities, very nice footage , nice to see there are still places in the world that are peaceful and serene .
Thank you! Don't feel inadequate, I've had some experience! Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!

Very cool video. I also watched the loon video. Curious to know if a loon has ever accidentally attacked a fishing lure and been hooked? Anyone know? Always wondered if it ever happened as I watch loons not far from where I fish at times in Ontario.
Yes, I have hooked (not caught) a loon. Dead minnow laying on bottom while hanging around campsite…reel peeling off drag…loon comes up with it. Broke it off rather than trying to fight with that thing.
To the original poster - very cool video. I also watched the loon one, it’s amazing you could capture that much of them hunting underwater!
