Does anyone know if Temagami has frozen over?

No info on Ottertooth or elsewhere.

Kinda? Doesn’t look consistent and probably not for huts or sleds yet, contact a local outfitter?

Friends up there mentioned a few days ago, that some part was open , and they were boating into somewhere on the lake and then ice fishing on another part of it..

I wouldn't go on till all of the forks of Temagami are frozen. The wind hits the open water and creates an undercurrent. Eats away at ice in spots from the bottom up. get thin spots. We went through the ice there in 2011 in early January. 10 of us. Lucky to have survived.

Friends up there are telling me after the last cold spell the area's ice is far better.
That being said, that area can does have usual bad spots. If you don't know them stick to the well traveled paths especially after dark. Currents near some islands can be quite dangerous for the ice conditions.
