Hi all, here is a video my latest camping adventure next to a beautiful frozen lake. I built a bushcraft natural shelter using boughs and logs. Cooked up some delicious food as well. Hope you you like it.

Great job on the shelter Zahan.....and your dinner....eating like a king my friend......did you eat all of that you cooked a lot.
Arnie
Thanks Arnie! Yes, it indeed was a lot of food. It was a struggle but I managed to eat all of it. There were lot of animal tracks of various kinds around my campsite so I thought may be it's best if I didn't leave any leftovers. Even though it would be hanged on a tree away from the camp, I decided to just eat it. I am sure it gave me some extra warmth during the night lol.

You mentioned small animal tracks....probably squirrels especially red squirrels....they like that terrain.

That makes sense. I did see quite a few of them active in that area. I am attaching some closeups of the tracks. There was one that went all across the lake in a straight line. Curious to know what animal that was. Apologies for the bad quality pics.

Nice. The meals are always pretty good (venison would be more outdoorsy but nothing wrong with some great tasting beef). I miss camping so these vids are a great way to bridge that time until I can get back to fishing and camping again.
