This morning
They just cruise by in schools, catch two or three quick ones, then nothing for 20 minutes or so….then a few more, all morning

The first one I caught went down on a couple trebles in hopes of getting a laker, no such luck today. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Interesting quick strike rig. Adjustable and seems to hold the herring horizontal quite well.
Well done! Mid water column with the presentation?

About 10 feet off bottom in 50-60 feet for lakers
And same 10 off bottom in 30-35 feet for pike

(Not hard and fast rules, just what’s worked for me in the past couple years)

I also like your quick strike rig cool how its adjustable to your bait size. Nice work on the herring what were you using to catch those ?
