Went out with Tim Hales on Thursday. Ice is in good shape with some slush about 8". All the operators are now out. Alot smoother than last year as fas as pack ice. Fishing was a bit slow where we were in 25 fow. Brought home 20 keepers between 2 of us however the other huts in 30 -35 reported steady action with a mix of smalls and keepers. Not too sure about the hours for bait but I believe he's there by 7 maybe earlier as the days get longer. Board member mainstay runs it.

I was out today in that area and you need a quad or snowmobile.. walking would take forever. At least 3km from either beaverton or port bolster to get into the right spots

I was out on Saturday with some friends, 8 inches of ice where we were and decent action from 10-noon then slowed down in the afternoon, brought home a nice feed of 9-12 inchers with some ciscoes that came through as well. Got our minnows from floyd hales huts in the morning
