The ice at Beaverton was 6 ins of black ice at 24 ft of water. Lots of huts out. Fishing was good in the afternoon. Managed a few 9 to 10.5 ins perch for a couple of meals. 11.5 was the biggest. Slabgrabber in 24 ft was the ticket for me.

I've never been out of Beaverton before, but hoping to get out from there this season. There is parking on the ice when thick enough (at your discretion), and also 3 lots (A, B, C) pictured below. I also think there are spots on Simcoe St leading up to the lots.

Lots of parking in Beaverton and minnows for sale right at boat launch. Parking is free .. and we only had 4" of ice just east of tree road operator has out to there hits... And perching was slow......✌️
