Innisfill Beach

I am hoping to try my luck out of Innisfill on Saturday.

Does anyone know the ice conditions?

I haven't been down that way this year - but Hot Box Huts was reporting 3-4" of ice by Lefroy a week ago. I would think that Innisfil has less than that - but again can't confirm anything.

drilled from the beach to the point yesterday, 5-8 inches but some slush around and ice has white ice on top. have seen sleds go by

I was out with Terry Goy last week...on a good six inches or more of solid clear ice. 6.8 metres of water with no weed cover. No luck other than a couple of small ones. I am going back next week. Has anyone had any luck with Cooks Bay Marina? It has been a couple of years since I booked with them.
