It's been my experience, when high pressure moves in, the bite slows drastically. Low pressure the bite improves. Typically Cold Temps = high pressure. Slow bite.

I agree.......add wild wind swings and full moon phases can really impact the bite

I have to agree with both statements. Water temp not changing this time of year it will about 4C no matter what the air temp is. The pressure and all the other things will have the impact on whether fish bit or not.

Agree - in my experience high pressure and extreme cold usually means slow fishing .
