Looking to head out at or nearby Innisfil Beach Park, checked on Innisfil.ca and it looks like it’s paid parking only for non-resident ice fishermen now. Any suggestions for parking would be appreciated, don’t mind paying for parking within reason.

Anybody knows the price for parking?
Hourly limit?
All day parking?

There is paid parking available at Innisfil Beach Park. The following parking fees apply: Cars, boat trailers and vehicles cost $10 per hour up to a maximum of $50. Buses cost $50 per bus plus an additional $10 per person (children under 10 years of age are free)

I use to spend hundreds of dollars per year buying gas, bait and food from Innisfil but thanks to the city politicians and its resident telling us we are not welcome, I wont spend a dime in that city anymore. I go out of my way to fish communities that support and welcome guests. I live in Port Credit and just imagine we charged people to pay for parking in parks and told out of towners they had to pay $50 or make lots that are for Mississauga residents only, sorry small town hicks we don't need you and our money is good elsewhere

That is steep, thanks for the reply Fisherman. Looks like we’ll be launching from somewhere else…

I’m curious if purchasing a parking pass from a resident is a thing. (Barrie + Innisfil)

Thanks for the heads up Fisherman.

I will never pay that steep price to them!!!

I go more than 5 hrs .......so it is $ 50????

I buy gas for my machine $20 worth and park somewhere else.........and I can run over to that side for fishing , and not to pay one cent to those money grabber Innisfil Municipalities !!!!

Yes, max of $50 per day. Now the crunch, I've heard rumours that if you have a trailer they expect to be paid for that too. I don't know if it's true or not. Innisfil can go take Trudeau Sr's direction, fuddle duddle.

One parking pass for both Barrie + Innisfil? It won't work unfortunately.

The City of Barrie has its own PERMANENT (never expire) resident parking permit.

The Township of Innisfil has it own ANNUAL resident parking permit that must be renewed/re-issued around February each year

(Though due to COVID-19, the 2020 Innisfil Resident Parking Permit had been valid for 2020, 2021 and 2022, and for until February 1st, 2023 which is less than a week ago. The new 2023 Innisfil Resident Parking Permit was just recently issue to its reiidents)

I stopped spending money in Innisfill several years ago when they started this BS . I would spend anywhere from 2-300 dollars a weekend in that town ,gas ,bait, restourants and sometimes accomodation . no more , I go well out of my way too spend in towns that appreciate my business. go to hell Innisfill
