Hey fellas looking to try out big bay, looking at the live cam seeing a bunch of guys out there. Will proceed cautiously as always, as the topics says looking for access and parking.

No info on BBP, but BP was ok today. Fished from 12:30 till 4:30. Damn Innisfil with their $7 per hour parking. Just 4 cars parked when the lot can hold probably 30. Even if that city wants to be greedy I think they lose lots of money with that price. Anyways, the ice was 6-7". Access and the hill are good. Few people, some on ATV. Saw marks only 4-5 times. Caught my first whitefish ever when I target them. Small, but important

Don't know if they? still do it, someone used to put a great big long rope down the hill so you could climb back up when it got slippery.
Either I came prepared or this hill got graded, haven't been there maybe 4 -5 years, and now only the lower 1/3 is a steep slope, after it it is comfortable climb.

There is parking there at Billy goat hill/ heart attack hill. I walked it no gear. I think it was guest Rd. $50 a day last I was there. Used to be parking on south side BBP road...no more. I heard they were putting in pay parking lot at the access? Can anyone confirm per post? Would also assume $50 Or buy a resident pass

I am not aware of Township of Innisfil (yes BP and BBP belong to Township of Innisfil) ever sells Township of Innisfil Resident Parking Permit. Though I know City of Barrie does.
