Out on orillia side today, nice little surprise

Fish were acting weird in the morning 7-10am was fish after fish none would bite , the 10-2pm marked 2 fish finally at 3:40pm caught both burbot and white fish in a matter of 5 minutes , the burbot was a nice surprise he was so low on the fish finder I barely even noticed he was there. Sometimes it pays to keep trying.

Nice catch….most of the time on my Vex the burbot just show as a thin yellow line moving slowly ‘in’ the bottom hard return red area.

Great catch, never had the pleasure hooking into a burbot on Simcoe or anywhere else for that matter. Enjoy.
