I don`t see any snowmobiles out there only ATV.
I did see quite a number of snowmobiles on ice yesterday off Port Bolster such as the one on below pic. Also there was a CO officer on snowmobile all over the places on the ice checking on everyone....
Oh....thanks for the picture.
The guy must have Ice scratchers installed or maybe it is an air cooled snowmobile.
My sled is liquid cooled engine and it requires snow for cooling. Or a LOT of scratched ice under the running board for cooling. Having only cold air will not enough for cooling my snowmobile.
And CO`s are running out there with the latest 4 stroke engines , well equipped.

Awesome haul, looked like a great day out yesterday with everyone enjoying the outdoors! I was out on Saturday out of Keswick and had CO come check as well, they were also out 2 weekends ago too when I was out with my wife. Good to see them out there!

I talked to Taj yesterday and he had to move his huts closer to shore but is still out there. we are booked to go back up a week this Tuesday if we have any ice in the cooldown....after this heat wave. We also talked about heading for Temagami for a overnighter.

What is the ice thickness in the past few days?
Where I fished last Sunday, ice was well over 12 inch for sure, but it's all white much-less-than-ideal ice, and the top half is more like snow --> slush --> formed very very crappy ice. But there wa no issue walking on it, and there was no sluch, with literally not much snow, either. And yes, there were lots of ATVs and snowmobiles everyone on ice. But then again, this is past Sunday (Feb 12), so I don't know the ice condition NOW.

Very nice jumbos! Enjoy the tasty catch.
I don`t see any snowmobiles out there only ATV. I need a few inches snow on top in order to go out there with my sled. Because that is the ONLY way I could go out and pulling my heavy gear.......lol...
And The forecast looks line NO SNOW coming but only warm temperatures!
Now I have to wait for the next season.........Open water!!
Taj always have a great service!! The best operator in Port Bolster area!!
