Fished with Tim Hales Friday in the usual perch grounds of Beaverton. Two fishers, one first time, caught approx 60 kept 17 9-11 inches. Lots of small fish, no real jumbos. Was a minnow bite, no love for Simcoe bug or slabgrabber.

Was out last Thursday with my Brother, we did a day hut with Tim Hales as well, landed over a 100 but no jumbo's. Lots of 9 to 11inchers as well. Steady action all day which made the day go by fast.

I too was out with Tim Hales on thursday. Same story caught well over a hundred and brought home 43 keepers in the 9 -12" range. Only 1 over 13"

How do you have the patience to fillet 43 fish. The most I have ever done at once was 23 crappie. I am slow at filleting fish but there is never any bones. Nice pictures of your catch.

Lol I dont! My buddy that I fish with is a wizard with the electric knife. He has a great system...says on average 40 seconds per... here is a pic from our first trip out with TH. The jumbos were in...quality but as much quantity...the big ones add up quickly though...3.4lbs from about 20 fish

Being a quiet man and one not lent toward bragging...
Working for 3 hrs on my new "stealthier" approach, you can understand how this guy never stood a chance. (You may have to use the enlargement feature of your view to get a better sense of the mass here!)

I also got out yesterday morning. Must have caught over 100 perch in total. Lots of 8-9" went back. Including a huge mama that must have gone 13 plus. She was released to swim another day. I ended up with 27 keepers over 10". Lots of work to process them but well worth it. This pic was taken mid day.
