I am together with family, heading up north this afternoon to a rented lake-front cottage in Algonquin Highlands area for 3 nights for this coming "Family Day" long weekend. Will explore a couple of lakes in the area, and hopefully will find and catch some fish:-)

Hey, 'up North' is 1 of my faves. The best place though is 'way up North" I am sure you will bring home some fish!

Good luck! I understand your excitement man as I'm doing the same thing for the three nights in Huntsville area, snowmobile is already hitched to the truck, departing in a few minutes (may be, as wife still grabbing her stuff upstairs ).

Back from the cottage. Fished two lakes, one where the cottage is, and the other nearby. Caught close to 20 small lakers (like around 1lb each:-), and two a bit bigger at around 3lb each.
