Got out a little earlier today but not early enough as someone was already set up on the hump so we decided on another local spot. Fished 66 fow with consistent marks all morning. Managed to ice 4 keepers today with a few smalls thrown back and 1 that came unbuttoned. Nice day out with excellent fishing.

A better day, true, but you did pretty well yesterday, IMO. My buds and I have been to Ross twice and just caught a few dinks. There were a few others there as well and everybody except 1 guy was doing likewise, or maybe getting skunked. We hardly marked any and had very few hits. So I think you did quite well.

Interesting that the fish were stuffed with minnows. Mine usually have empty stomachs. I guess they might 'toss their cookies' on the way up. The color of the flesh implies that they have been eating crustaceans-- scuds, crayfish etc
