Good action today at the shack they were biting short and I was missing many. Sooo I switched to a micro tungsten and a head of a pin head and found success. Went 6 for well I lost count of the bites missed. 4 of them were keepers. I was happy to see some different sizes the smallest caught and released was about 4 inches. Best day for action in the shack it appears to be a daytime bite on this lake. I catch nothing after the sun goes down. I can't upload the pic as its too big but 2 at 11 inches and 2 around 9 inches kept for the pan.

Thanks everyone. I gifted them to my buddy as his wife had never tried Crappie before. She asked him to target them as she really enjoyed it. He didn't like that because he likes fishing for the ones that tug hard. It was a fun day and I'm hoping for the same soon. I forgot to mention my Mr Heater caught on fire that day. I choked out the propane and threw it outside. Lucky for us my buddy had his camp stove in his sled.

This happened to me once when was really cold. After it happened I was advised by l a friend to attach propane cylinder while it's warm right out of the car, then it does not leak n does not catch fire , and it never happened again .
