How is the ice on kempenfelt? If Lake to get out for whities, or if there are any other access areas for whities?

I was there on Sunday, but not much action.

I was out on Sunday as well on Kemp.

Very slow all day. 3 of us fished from 7am-3pm big fat skunk.

Was out today on Kempenfelt off of Johnsons beach, Ice was different thickness in all the holes I drilled but even walking out about half way across the bay there was still a solid 3-4 inches of solid ice, nearer to shore was 5 inches of solid ice a d 2-3 of softer ice. Marked a few fish in about 87ft but seemed pretty uninterested and were gone pretty quick, closer to shore in 45ft had a couple good marks around 4:30-5pm but was getting dinked around by Smelt and Cisco so packed it in for the day.
