about 3" of wet snow here with the thunder snow. I have seen this several times over the years, it is still impressive.

Under 1" in the Dunnville area, very wet stuff, dodged the snow this time.
And as many already know, not much ice this year ...

Got 12” plus in Bolton. Took my 26” snow blower out and cleared my driveway and then started doing my neighbours place. Unfortunately the good deed fairy was handing out coal. My snowblower worm gear assembly decided to grenade on the auger assembly. A thrust bearing blew apart then joined the gears and blew them out of mesh which in turn expanded the housing and blew through it.

I love snow but this sucked. Looks like a $350.00 dollar part. Ughhhh

How will the ice conditions be affected other than lot of snow on top? We are hovering the freezing mark. Should keep ice ok?

When you get that much heavy snow on top, it will make a lot of slush, no fun.

We prepped for the worst and wound up getting lucky with maybe 2 inches of wet snow and some rain

when I looked at the radar, several times it looked really bad

everything has melted off

Yes you did shank…I just don’t know what lake you’re referring to exactly as Utterson has several, it’s a large area, though I’m guessing Long’s?

That sound more like the Greater Utterson area rather than Utterson itself.

I do snow for a living and the 13 inches gave me several breakdowns on my two commercial Toros.....one did the same as yours and the auger gear box is pooched.......that snow was awful heavy Disco.....it took me two days to do my 23 driveways.

I feel for you.

To be fair my blower has been put to the test more than once. I have often taken it to my cottage to clear the driveway two and a half feet deep. Never let me down but hard work wears stuff out.

Do you happen to know anywhere for a good deal on parts?
