Good afternoon folks,
Just curious if anyone on this side of the forum has ever fished in little lake/Otonabee river?
I used to go up there to Beavermead campground as a kid every year and we used to panfish etc. there but I want to bring a boat up there and rent a site on the creek etc.
I've never fished in a boat there just curious how the bass fishing is and if there are any walleye present?

Never seen a walleye from little, there were Muskies in there, Bass are around, biggest fish in there would be Carp… and soooooo many of them. Do not eat anything out of that lake, the pollution n little lake is insane.

Thanks for the tip.
I heard about the carp fishing - not my thing lol
That sucks they probably have overrun the place and messed up the fishery.
Good to know there's some bass around at least - I imagine some pike swimming around as well.
More going up for the nostalgia anyways and some decent fishing at least hopefully.
I also heard there's some muskies as well.......so many down here and they're hard enough to catch so unless I run into one by pure chance on a spinner bait or something probably won't happen.

They just had a diesel fuel spill on the weekend, presumably from the roads dept. tanks. They are cleaning it up and testing frequently. Hopefully they fix the leak, which is also suspected to be an underground tank/line issue before it gets worse.
