I tried to push my shack off the ice and only got maybe 20 % of the way. I pushed it out by hand by myself and I'm struggling now.
Is it best to wait for the snow to melt and put on some cleats? Any ideas or thoughts are very welcome. And no I don't have access to a machine, perhaps next season I'll have that luxury.

I’d wait til we get a rain and wear cleats. I hand bombed my little hard hut for a few years too and best was right before the end of season to get it off. Cleats for sure, I buggered my heal one year not wearing cleats trying to horse it off the ice in slippy conditions. Or could ask for an extra hand from someone.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I will likely push if off on Friday with a couple other guys. It's curently raining here so I hope by that time the conditions are favorable. I will buy a couple pairs of cleats for my helpers, all should go well.
I'm starting to think about open water, the boat and camping

Thanks for the advice and o those who offered to help. I slid it across today on slick ice with cleats. It went really well! It slid about 30 feet when I gave it a push.
