Was out at Port Bolster on Friday for the last trip of the season. The day started slow, but ended strong. As the day came to a close, I walked back to shore with the sun still up, but at my back the whole way. It took about 30 min to reach shore, but when I turned around I was greeted to my surprise with this amazing sunset. A nice farewell gift to the season from Ma Nature! Like I said, sometimes (often times) the primary enjoyment with fishing isn't even about catching something (but it doesn't hurt either )!

That is one of the great joys of ice fishing! I was out with my daughter last week...sun shining, sky beautiful...no fish biting...and she looked around and said "how many people get to experience this!"
