Hello, anyone else going out tomorrow for last perch on the hard water?

I checked the ice today and it's looks soft up top but I think tonight's minus 6 will harden it up nicely?

Was looking around Cooks Bay area.

I'm having one last go tomorrow. Little north of Simcoe, but im expecting relatively same conditions. Not too worried about the ice, more so the shoreline.

I was one Simcoe yesterday. The perch bite was great. The ice is surprisingly good. 10-12" with 6-8" of black ice still. (north end of the lake). The challenge now is the shoreline - it was pretty rough yesterday. The wind yesterday may have done some damage as well.

I'm not sure how it will be today... the rest of the week is looking pretty warm. Guess it's time to get the boat ready. (My son also reminded me that we need to go for a hike and look for deer sheds. Always something to do! LOL)

Yes, I was out today Sunday April 2nd on a lake in Muskoka, and landed 3 whitefiish. And no, this won't be my last day on ice:-)
