I fish rice lake but want to start trying different lakes this summer. What’s the fishing like on balsam? I fish for bass ,crappie and walleye….Thanks Kevin G

I have two favourite lakes and Balsam is one of them. My personal best crappie, walleye, bass and muskie were all caught on Balsam. There is some monsters in that lake. Even my biggest rock bass came from Balsam. LOL. There is big pike in there as well. Get a chart if you would like to fish it. There is some hidden rocks where there shouldn't be any. If you have time, check out my posts from the past few years. I have tried to pass on lot's of information on my Balsam adventures.

Thanks I will look back at some of your older posts. My little guy caught his first crappie last year and loves them. I’ve only caught them by accident on rice so I’ll have to do some research on them…thanks Kevin G
