As much as I've enjoyed my inflatable over the past several years, this is a significant upgrade. No more worrying about punctures. It hasn't hit the water yet and I had planned on waiting until next year to add a pedal drive, but a deal too good to pass up happened, so we're going into this season fully equipped. I spent yesterday afternoon installing the pedal drive & rudder system and all that's left is the wiring for my fish finder. She'll be ready for the initial tryout next weekend for pike opener and I can't wait .

Very nice kayak indeed. And with a pedal drive, you are freeing your two hands for fishin'!:-)

It's a beast at about 100lbs for the hull alone, but yes, I'm car topping it. It's a bit of work, and my side mirror has been epoxied back on a few times now, but it is what it is.

The below skiff >> Wavewalk S4 << is my toy in middle of lake Erie 10k away from shore.
This skiff has the same weigh as your toy but keeps my as dry and I can mount any engine on it from 24V Minkotas to 6HP gas.
Same weight but more heavy service. The skiff has a real transom in the back.
The storage inside the 2 hulls is large.
