Balsam Pike Fishing First Timer

Parr Trout Group: Members Posts: 61 Member No.: 2730 Joined: January 08, 2013	Bringing the boat and camping at the park this weekend. This will be the first time fishing Balsam and hoping to have fun with the pike. Any help or hints would be much appreciated....thanks

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 2077 Member No.: 12665 Joined: December 22, 2016	Lots of pike in Balsam. This Spring has been cold so the water is still fairly cold for this time of year so don't rush your retrieve and stay close to the bottom with your baits/lures.
