Thanks guys, that makes me feel better. I don't know what it is, but I hate killing fish or animals when hunting, even if I'm going to harvest them.
I feel less bad about salmon, though, as they only live 4 years max. I think I'd have to go into therapy if I ever killed a Sturgeon lol.
Disco, yeah, that's exactly what it looked like. Shad was way down there with the treble hooks. I'm thinking about replacing the trailing treble on my shads with a single barbless hook.

I have replaced the rear trebles with single hooks on the crankbaits that I use for bass/pike/walleye. IMO, not only are they easier to remove than trebles even with the bardb, but also tend to produce a better hook set to start with.

That's awesome! Yeah, that's what I'm doing as well.
I hope it works well. Since it's early in the season and I haven't put out a video in a long time, I'm taking the time to document the install process and post a video of installing the pantopix and ps30 (flipped like yours.)
There are a few more exciting things going on than just installing the ps30 and 10" unit. I hope to document that entire extended process so that others can feel confident doing the same.
How are you enjoying your Pantopix? I'm installing mine for salmon, as I've mentioned in threads before.. but I'm certain it'll be fun for lakers too
