Long story short...muskrats x2...Beavers x3. Caught lots of fish but my little and big rodent friends sure got in the way last night. They did not settle down until about three hours before the sun came up. After that the crappie showed up. Got some sleep and later going fishing with the Reelingmachine. Stay safe all.

That’s great . Thanks for reporting and good luck tomorrow to you and RM!
If you mean 12.01am tonight then yes that's tomorrow. LOL. Too bad the moon wont be out like this picture. It was so dark out most of last night. You could see every star in the sky. Good luck to you as well.

Back from fishing now. A very strange night. Had a visit from two MNR officers. They were making the rounds. They arrived 20 minutes before midnight. I told them how much I was looking forward to midnight. Well The fishing was amazing. I caught two whole rock bass. LOL. RM caught walleye and a skunk for me. Had a great time fishing with RM most of the night. Sometimes the fish just do not cooperate. Lots of fish Thursday but on opening night no dice. Just when you think you know a thing or two Mother Nature shows you she is still in charge. Stay safe.

Don't forget to know the regulations and follow them. These MNR people have a tough job. Be nice to them. They are doing their best to protect our fish and game. I am always happy to see them. Don't be like this guy. Be an honest angler.

Thanks for reporting , CM. It’s unfortunate that weather took a dive Friday night and Saturday with the northern winds . The fish most likely moved deeper . In Spring it’s often like that - up and down. Congrats to RM on the first walleye of the season . It’s only going to get better from here .

Thank you, JB.
Thank you, Jamie, for the invite.
I think we would have a better bite if Leafs won. The loss took everything down...

Been a leaf fan all my life. I have grown accustomed to saying maybe next year. LOL. You are welcome, it was a great night of slow fishing. And good luck to you JB when you get to your walleye fishing.
