Lake Simcoe MNR,and bass tournament participant Will Wegman passed away last night.He was a kind and new a lot about lake simcoe fishery,he will be missed

Yes he was a good man that took his job to heart. So many good things he accomplished in his career. We need more dedicated people like him.

Such a shame.

I had a number of dealings with Wil over the years.

A very pleasant gentleman who knew so much about Lake Simcoe and the outdoors.

He will be missed.

If you do a "Google" Search for his obituary, be cautious.

I did a search and the 2 sites I found had viruses according my anti-virus program.

My condolences to the family and so sorry to hear about this news. He will be greatly missed. A knowledgeable angler and very dedicated to maintaining a healthy fishery in Lake Simcoe and the surrounding areas. God Bless.

Fished with Will a couple of times. With my friend Brian whom was his partner in a bass tournament on lake. Somcoe. They caught the big fish of the tournament. I wish I was half the fisherman Will was. What a great guy. He will be missed b6 many. RIP. Your friend Rocky

He and I were fishing on lake Simcoe once about 7 yr ago.
A really nice guy, we talked alot abut fall bass fishin on that lake.

He be missed.
