Why there is no Walleye fishing on Lake Ontario out side of the Bay of Quinte
I have heard of some in the Niagara river. But never anything related to the Golden Horseshoe area.. Are ther no Walleye populations on west side of the lake ?

Walleye are no caught in Hamilton harbour because of a large stocking program.
Niagara bar area and lower river has a great population. Most people fish them on the American side so make sure you have the proper license if you do try.

I think there are more walleye on the south shore than people would believe.....they are not targeted that much as most are focused on salmonoids

That is very puzzling considering all the rivers we have flowing in from the Ganaraska all the way to brontie and everything in between and NO spawning grounds for Walleye in north west Lake Ontario ?

Walleye spawn not just in rivers, they also spawn on sandy shoals and around shallow water near islands and even on rocky or sandy shorelines. Nature always finds a way.
