tried carping this morning.....fun

Well done Werner.......I used to carp fish back in the late 50's and early 60's. Used a ball of cornmeal for bait. Fished the Credit River for them by the railroad bridge. They never disappointed, you had to fight for every inch. the last time I had one on was 4 years ago in the Waubaushene Harbour....it stayed down and I thought I had a big muskie on....lmao.....it came up beside the boat and saw the brown and orange.....what a disappointment. Humphrey my buddy damn near fell out of the boat laughing at me.

my dad used to take me to Toronto islands and we smashed carp with a worm or bread


really fun times


now i use a special recipe to make my own bait...simple and cheap but works great
