So I had my boat parked in my driveway during the last bout of rain that lasted the last few days.

Today it stopped raining, so I went to work on my boat and wow, it was a swimming pool in there. Because of the slope that my boat is on my driveway, the rainwater pools in the front.

I have a hitch scale that normally says 550 lbs of hitch weight (10% of trailer/boat weight). That means my trailer and boat is normally 5500 lbs.

When I hooked it up to my hitch today, the scale said 1000 lbs on the hitch. That means my boat was now 10,000 lbs.

Yes, there was 4500 lbs or so of rainwater in there. I took it on a hill and the bilge pump went on for about 5 minutes straight all the while water was gushing out of the pipes from the deck drains too haha.

Some quick math means that I had 2000L of water in that boat.

This is what 2000L looks like: Attached Image

If you park your boat on a driveway that has incline...........always park the boat so the drain plug hole is facing down, and the bow is facing up on incline. The drain plug is removed , of course, and any water is collected in your boat is naturally drained out! But of course if you have boat cover , you won't have any water in your boat! In 22 years I park on my driveway.........I never collected any rain water in my boat!

Wow that's incredible. We did get a lot of rain in Barrie over the last few days.
I'm so glad my boat "just" fits in my garage with the swing away tongue. Otherwise I'd be in the same situation as you. Leaving it in the driveway would make my bow lower than the stern. Even with a cover I'm sure it would still have water in it.

a little bit off topic but related. I have an auto bilge but the drain hole is about 1" off the floor lowest point and thers always a bit of water left. . Is there a small inexpensive manual or battery or 12v driven water pump to drain all water out? Or I shouldnt bother?
