Hi, I have a Helix 7 and I would like to know if it's worth buying the Humminbird LakeMaster VX Ontario? I currently have the Navionics chip. Thanks a lot!

In my opinion, only if you have a Minnkota trolling motor with iPilot Link. The Lakemaster chip is the only one that will work with Hummingbird/Minnkota products. Although I personally I prefer the Navionics chip due of the increase in map detail, I had to purchase the Lakemaster chip to be able to use the "follow the contours" on the Helix 7 graph. It was a bit frustrating as the Lakemaster chip was over 2 yrs late in arriving, at least with Canadian map. Good Luck
