Hi Folks,

Just started going out in Lake Huron from the mouth of Southampton and was wondering if anyone would be will to share some general locations and some depth info to help me reduce the learning curve.

My experience to date are in inland lakes that I have been visiting for years, Opeongo, Restoule and Martin Lake.

Any help is appreciated hoping to get out some more prior to the Laker season close

At this time of year, you can do pretty good on salmon at the dusk and dawn hours. Flat line jointed Rapalas, wobbling plugs like Lyman's and Little Cleo spoons in and out of the mouth of the river.
There is always small mouth bass in the river and huge channel cats. They are fun to catch.
