Had another super day. Landed 10 by 11:00am. The first couple hours is reeling in fish, reviving and releasing them, and letting lines out again. Pretty much non stop action.
Live target smelt, and blue silver reefrunner worked good.
This is the easiest fishing for big fish I have ever had anywhere. But never easy when you have them screaming out 200 yards at a time and you often have to sometimes turn the boat and chase them.
A lot of the salmon go deeper an hour after sun up, but 35 feet was the magic number where we found the biting fish.

Like I said on your last post, holy smokes. How much did that fish weigh approximately?

Pretty much all the staging salmon weigh 15 - 25 lbs. That one was closer to 25lbs. Last year got one at 30lbs that was still silver.
