Evening all! I hope you guys have had a great start to October. What great weather we have had. I definitely am enjoying it. In recent I have made it out fishing for the last 2 days. The fishing has been lights out for bass and walleye at my local spot. In todays video, I will be cooking lunch on a river Island while fishing for big bass and eyes. I hope you all enjoy. Much more to come. I have the next video filmed, just need to edit it!

You can catch walleye way up the Grand River as far as Grand Valley and all the way back down to the bottom. There is also walleye in the Nith River, Conestoga River, and Speed river. The best spots are quite a hike and surrounded by private property...(farms). When I was a kid we bailed hay for the farmers to get access to many of these farms. There is still good walleye and amazing crappie and pike fishing, as well as fantastic LM and SM bass fishing in these four rivers mentioned above. A few days of work here and there for decades of fishing some great spots on the rivers was well worth the price of admission. I find if you are nice to people and share your knowledge or catch of fish, many opportunities present themselves through kindness and respect. That's the way our grandfathers and great grandfathers did it way back when.

Thank you guys for the comments! Yes Cm is right for sure, what special and incredible River/Rivers they are! Such a variety of fish. So exciting! Nothing beats multi species fun close to home. Thank you guys again for the kind words. More to come!
