So, I've had an Aqua View Fish TV for about 15 years. I've used it all across Canada with lots of fun. The only lake so far I've had an issue with is Nipissing. It is just so dark you can't see much more then a couple of feet. Does anyone else have this issue? Its a black and white picture, do any of the newer color screens work better? Right now I only get up to Nipissing once a year but will be moving to the North Bay area this summer and hope to get out a lot more. Is it worth upgrading?

The Pic is from Lake Simcoe about 20' deep for reference. A little fuzzy but bright.

That's Nippissing water, tea stained and at best get maybe 2-3 feet, Colour or B&W doesn't make a difference.

Ok thanks. No sense upgrading for now then. Maybe I'll look into the sonar style fish finders.
