Hey guys, planning a trip down to Simcoe on the weekend of the 21-23 just looking for some info on ice conditions, snow depth and anything else to be aware of or watch for planning on fishing between gilford and lefroy just wanted to make sure the ice was safe planning on on walking out and spiffing my way as always but it’s roughly 7 hours to get to Simcoe for us so before making the drive wanted to check, please leave any info in the comments it would be really appreciated thanks!

So much ice you have no worries anywhere on Cooks. As for snow it’s any where from bare ice patches to a few inches thick light snow.
