This rain can’t be good for the opener.
I’m BBQing in my shorts and I swear I saw a dew worm.
I can’t be the only concerned guy can I ?
I think the temps are more favourable by the end of the week.
Sadly I leave you with 2 words ….
Water Wings ……

Good news is the snow is all gone off the ice. Bad news is there is a lot of water on top. Not sure what the thickness is but I have heard 10" as of several days ago before the warmer weather set in.
Calling for 20 to 30mm of rain through tomorrow morning.
Ice Bungalows has their condos out there and I see one personal hut out there by Beacon Island.
Several snow machines and one 6 wheeled atv have gone by.
I'm thinking cleats and waterproof boots are a must until things set up later in the week.

You probably did see a worm, I saw 2 damn mosquitos trying to poke me. They died.

Well the original plan was to ride to the Manitous on the opener. Not comfortable with that anymore. Could probs still walk on but i am getting old and lazy so figure i'll give it a week and then ride out for multiple limits.

If you were in your shorts and saw a dew worm you need to get longer shorts.

Well played Arnie lol. In my defence, there was a breeze
With that said, my grade 6 English teacher preached the importance of proof reading your work. She was right.
Cheers

Hoping I see no rain today. Despite forecast says it’s zero I’m reading two degrees still this morning. This has been quite the warm spell… ☹️
