Got out for a few hours with some guys from work. I was expecting more slush but the snow was more of a challenge. The bite was slow, however they were under us most of the day but were tight lipped. We managed 20 but only 4 keepers. Two guys were first timers and enjoyed the experience. They're already asking when we're going again. All in all a great time. Hopefully conditions improve and we can get a for another trip before seasons end.
Ice was still 14" with maybe 6" of slush and maybe 14" of snow
