See the weather report for the last week of nip fishing? I’d say spring is coming….

Is there any snow left on the ice? Heading out Monday and wondering if it's snowmobile or atv+chains season.

Calling for +11 and rain on the 15th. No worries about ice thickness but have a feeling the cracks could start acting up - never a good thing.

I had enough snow past couple days and it snowed a bit last night. Some deep slush holes can be found I’m sticking to sled as wheels in hole not fun. But I’m switching to secret back lakes for a bit right now.

This was taken 5 min ago.

The Slush is getting worse but it's still doable and I've seen more than a few wheels getting stuck in the last little bit.

@Hunterman I walked into a back lake on Saturday and the slush was very bad just an FYI.

Today I’m seeing 11 degrees and overcast. Threatening rain to come and some current breeze. Decided not to try the last day but I saw a few guys out there. Many huts pulled off but still some out there - couple look like they’re sitting low. I’d say it was a pretty good season from my perspective and I don’t think we got scammed like last year. Honestly looking forward to some spring fishing in watercraft.
