Spring Perch, Beauty Spring Day

Hope everyone is starting to enjoy the nice weather. It sure was a great day to be out on the big lake yesterday with the perfect conditions. It sure was a much deserved trip for me and my friend. We really just wanted to get out on the water and the catch was a bonus. After about 1.5 hours of searching for a decent school of perch with basic sonar we were on the mother load. The average size on this particular trip was ridiculous. Ended up with a great haul of fish for five nice meals for my family. Enjoy Spring ? Werner might be able to add a few pictures.

That day went beyond expectations since the start was so slow, but we have fished this style before and knew we had to make that move and let the sun get higher

After waiting for 5 months to get back out there, it was so worth it/ tons of laughs jokes and just a stellar day with my buddy.........was so tired when I finally got home even though we stopped fishing around 1pm

the average size was impressive and the bite so hot we both went to 1 rod and a single hook....shoot it down, flip the bail fish on gotta love it

that kind of weather is getting rare for big water fishing so we totally loved that day and the walleye were a great bonus in a different location

i laughed trying to hold 4 of those perch up, but Steve finally got a decent shot

Wow those huge perch you guys caught look like absolute gluttons, plus a couple bonus “eyes” doesn’t get any better than that if you like eating fish.
