In this video, I’m chasing JUMBO perch during the Orillia Perch Festival, one of the biggest perch tournaments around. I break down the key techniques and strategies that consistently get big perch to bite. Whether you’re trying to up your game or just love seeing fat perch hit the deck, this one’s for you.

I won't spoil the surprise, but love what you said. "Use what I use, and do what I did." That's fishing at its best!! We take the time to give good advice on baits and our methods of fishing that always works. OK ........maybe don't always work, just 98% of the time, almost always. Or try our best to answer a question or two, that's sharing fishing knowledge. I have never had someone tell me my advice did not work. No enthusiastic angler has ever said my choices of baits don't work. If we listen to our peers that take the time to assist others, we all succeed in our angling adventures. If someone shows you the how, when, what and why, then all you have left is the where. Find the fish, then catch the fish. Release the fish or take it home and eat it. I don't target perch but enjoyed the video very much. Good job as always. The only reason not targeting perch, is for the crappie and walleye. Monster crappie and walleye eat lots of perch. LOL.
