made the 2 Hour Drive this morning up to Owen Sound. We got out on the water at about 5:30 AM. We got out and we were met with almost 0 visibility fog. That did not slow us down much as we sounded our horn and GPS to our location, at a trolling speed. It was pretty quiet most of the morning and the fog didn’t lift until late morning. Then we started to get hits, but it was very soft bite. A lot of them came unbuttoned, but we did manage five small but good eater size fish. All Lakers and Kings. We fished all Depths throughout the morning and finally found a school that produced the fish that we caught. Mostly on Green and white spoons and also on white with black dotted spoons. All were caught on Riggers and approximately 140 feet of water at depths ranging from 65 to 110 feet. A lot of fun was had. It was very little wind and very flat. And the temperature around 55° so quite comfortable.

Right on. That’s an eerie feeling heading out in fog like that

And now you might ask yourself did you have any bananas on board and here is your answer?

So in this last picture, somebody decided to play a prank. It was my turn up for the next fish. I had my back to the action and it was driving the boat. Next thing I hear is a burst from everyone saying fish on. Of course, I went to the back of the boat and I was handed Rod and started reeling. I’m not feeling anything on the rod, except a slight drag, what the buggers had done was hooked up a banana peel and let it out for me to drag back in. Need us to say we had a great day despite the fog and lots of laughs. I am pictured here with my great catch lol.
