Amazing, thanks for sharing! We were trying to plan a back country Algonquin trip this year but opted to do a northern fly in later this year instead. Bt this is definitely happening in the near future! You cannot beat a fresh trout cooked on an open fire. Yum!

drew........great report and success........the pics are exactly why you do those kinds of outings
and the trout size is always what I am looking for, paying attention to the hatches is key in the spring and later as well, plus wind direction, in other words details pay off

I missed doing a spring trip into the park before the bugs but I can tell you the past couple days have been so cold outside the park with no bug problems that I wish I had planned a trip for right now.
