Well i got out in the canoe today around 12:30pm and fished to 3PM landed a couple nice fish and lost 3 i started fishing the shore line with no luck so i knew i had my work cut out for me started to move to deeper water fishing with the Lake Troll added 3/8oz to my troll and 70 feet of line out trolling at 1.7 to 2 mph.
It was the ticket today they were deeper !!!!

those are huge. way to go. Went they are that big are they as tasty as they are when they are smaller

They taste really good the meat is dark red and the lake has a rock bottom no weeds and very little sand/mud bottom.
I find the lakes with the mud bottoms give a different taste.

If you were in Zone 11 (North Bay), you'd have to let them all go except 1.
