I didn't have a lot of free time this weekend because I was working on the never ending kitchen reno.

Monday I said screw it I'm going for a troll for a few hours so I picked up a friend around 11 and we hit a lake in the area.

The plan was to troll shallow looking for pike.

I think it was 7-8 healthy pike and one surprise fish. All released!

Water was 55.

I know it's out of season and it wasn't intentional but it is what it is when a fish hits you just get er done and get er back.

One heck of a fight, and the spoon popped out when netting her so it worked out perfect for a quick health release.
