You know from the prior thread, that we were organizing the above on May 17.
Our goal was to try and raise $5,200, which with the $9,800 raised in the first 3 years, would give us a total of $15,000. As it takes $30,000 to raise and train a dog, that would have mean't that we would have funded 1/2 a dog. Not sure if it is the front end or back end, but each end has it's own way of expressing it's happiness and enthusiasm.
When we left the Hall on the 17th, we had raised a total $5,027. When the cheque picture was taken on the 21st, we were at a total $5,047. On May 22, another $358. came in to the COPE web-site, so right now we have a total of $5,355. which exceeds our goal. TREMENDOUS!
Our total is now in excess of $15,000
