Frogg Toggs Alabama, USA

Wetskins Concord, Ontario

I'll check my tags tonight and let you know where they're made. I'd rather support a Canadian company.

You?

I'll happily choose a Canadian brand if it meets the criteria. The westskins stuff I know of is more like basic vinyl rain gear that is usually not very breathable. I have a pair of similar helly pants and they're super waterproof, but my nuts are swimming in sweat in no time during summer rains. At least that's what is listed on the Canadian Tire site and Wetskins don't seem to have their own website to peruse their products - do you have a link by chance?

Check this company out:

https://www.taigaworks.com/collections/shell-garments

Canadian 100%. More of a west coast thing - not really sure why they never caught on here.

I have a Gore-Tex parka shell from these guys that i bought in 1991 and it still sees service and is still waterproof. Doesn't bead and shed water like it used to but still keeps it out.

Unless i am missing something why do you think they are Chinese?

I was referring to the Wetskins.

I mentioned that I'd check my tags.

Bought the jacket and overalls from Canadian Tire last year and absolutely love them. The hood is also removable with a few snaps.

Thanks for the suggestion Live_to_Fish - hadn't heard of that brand.
