Coming to Balsam Lake 3rd week of June. Would like to try Leeches for Walleye. Does anyone know of a bait store nearby to buy Leeches. Thanks for any help you can give.

Smith & Son's Bait & Tackle Near Bobcaygeon, phone number is 1-705-738-5743. Make sure when you buy leeches or minnows you keep your receipt with you when fishing. Conservation Officers, who are very thorough and do a great job, frequently around enforcing the regulations on bait, walleye slot size and possesion limit for Balsam Lake etc. Best to know all the regulations before you begin your long trip. Let us know how you make out.
